There seems to be a general practice here of quoting complete posts when giving a reply/comment/answer.

I wonder if anyone else dislikes this as much as I do? Why not just refer to the poster or a brief quote for relevance?

I wonder if this practice is a factor related to the slowness of the Get Together Community. I find this one of the slowest forums I visit.
