The following notice was inside each shower cubicle at a recently visited site. It stated:-

 ‘Please use the scraper,
(note not Squeegee),to clean the
cubicle after use ready for the next member’.

How this ‘scraper’ was supposed to be effective is beyond me. The tiles on the floor of the raised shower tray were of the heavily dimpled sort so any use of the scraper would only touch the top of the
dimples. Any water that found its way onto the quarry tiled floor of the rest of the cubicle could not be cleared away as there was nowhere for it to be ‘scraped’ to. The only drain in the floor was right at the far end of the block, a good twenty feet away
from the showers.

The vast majority of us have said it many times, “Bring Back the Mops and Buckets”  PLEASE. They present less of a health risk than totally ineffectual squuegees (or scrapers).
