Expectations when buying from a dealer
Wondered if you good folks can help? I bought a used van from a dealer with the promise that it would be serviced prior to collection. Now, I have always had my vans serviced and know that when this is done I get a report/service schedule as proof, along
with a damp report. When I picked up the van I did not receive a report, in fact I had to ask to have the service book stamped only to be told this was not the important piece. I have since complained about this and a few other things only to be told that
as the van was serviced by them prior to being sold they do not need to provide the report. I feel that if it was serviced I should be provided with a full report on the service. Does anyone have any advice as I am struggling to get them to budge on this and
am thinking about having it serviced by an independent person!
