Tewksbury club site....and others!
Arrived at the Tewskbury site last Monday for a short stay.
We are Motorhomers and normally stay for only a day or two, however, on this occasion it was for 4 nights.
On arrival, and during our stay, the wardens were pleasant, helpful and always cheerful.
During our visit nearly every camper seemed to obey the miriad of rules and regulations.
The facilities were excellent and always clean.
The site itself was obviously well tended and the flower display, even in October, was a site to see.
Only one camper seemed to have difficulty applying one particular rule in that he had to back his caravan 5 or 6 times to get near the peg. Finally he backed into the peg and then moved it a couple of feet to suit the caravan. What a brilliant bit of sideways thinking!
Why do I woffle on so?
During very many years the above comments apply to every CC site we have visited.
Perhaps we go to have a pleasant time and we don't look hard enough for all the 'baddies' that are so regularly reported here.
We must look a little harder in future instead of enjoying ourselves.
Thank you wardens, everywhere!
