Hebden Bridge

I just spent a night at the CC Hebden Bridge site, and really didn't enjoy it.

For a start the site was very noisy with all the birds singing, and as the non-awning pitches are right by the river I could hear that all the time as well.

I walked up the hill to the Robin Hood community pub. Very odd place, they talk to strangers and expect you to join in as well, not what I'm used to.

All that and it cost me £9.70 a night (and the beer was a whole £2.50 a pint so I drank too much)!

Seriously it's a delightful small site in a very friendly area. I will go back there, the only downside for me is the lack of facilities block, I can manage for a few nights though.
