Are CC Sites too noisy?

Just arrived onsite and have had three wardens working around the van hedge cutting, leaf blowing, bin emptying, and finally using the leaf blower to blow gravel off he roadway all with petrol engined devices that were extremely loud. This went on for over
two hours at the end of the afternoon.

Surely, this is not necessary or environmentally friendly. A rake will collect hedge cuttings just as efficiently and cost nothing to run or polute the environment with smoke and noise. A broom will sweep gravel off the roadway just as well as a leaf blower
for the same reasons.

We have just been on a commercial site where the 'tractors' used to collect rubbish etc were all electric and noiseless.

We come on holiday to escape the noise and bustle of life and choose sites in the country for a little R&R and peace and quiet.

I know that wardens have a job to do, to keep sites looking nice, but why all the noisy equipment. The wardens here just look like boys with new toys and don't seem to appreciate that the club is for members to relax and enjoy - not be bombarded with noise.

Alternatively, can the CC fit better silencers to the tractors and equipment?
