Insurance and Tyres

Hi All..

I have just taken my caravan for service, I noticed that the date stamp on the tyres made them nearly two years out of date, I understand for caravan tyres to be date stamped but also woundered if this was a motring offensive that could lead to points on
your licence?

I have asked the dealer who is servicing the caravan to fit 4 new tyres as im not sure this would also affect the caravan insurance, I can find anything in the policy regarding this, can anyone assist?

Also is a dealer allowed to sell a caravan with out of date tyres??
