Screw or Hammer in Awning Pegs

After another very enjoyable weekend away I am now wondering if screw in awning pegs are the way to go as the guys opposite were drinking their first glass of wine while I was still hammering in my awning pegs, I have a battery drill, but wonder about the
type of screw in pegs for hardstandings, should of chatted to them, I think they were using the megascrew ones, all advice and comments welcome please
