Hints & Tips Sought for Caravan Holiday 2015

We have been caravanning for over 20 years and have recently joined The Club. We are planning to use the caravan in GB next July and August. Living in Northern Ireland we have a bit of water to negoiate first!  I'm thinking of driving south to Dublin then
ferry to Wales.  Stay for 5 days or so in Wales then drive northwards to the Lake District for 5 days then drive north to Scotland for ferry from Stranraer or Cairnryan back home.

We are seeking sites that take dogs and ideally are within 15-20 minutes walk of a village or pub.
