Club unit matching service

Hello all. I have just bought a new 2014 2.2 diesel rav4, I am highly satisfied with it so far but have only towed for 220 miles up to pres, My caravan is an Elddis avante 462 weighing 1230kg max, the car has a towing capacity of 2000kg according to my DVLA
log sheet so can anyone explain why the clubs unit matching service says my outfit is a bad match and could merit the attention of the police.My previous tow car was a 2.2 Toyota avante 2.2 diesel which I used for 6 years and towed in Europe on several occasions
without any problems, this was also considered a bad match by the club, Does the club have a grievance with Toyotas or am I missing something?
