Vintage? Isabella Awning Fixon's.

Hello friends,

I just bought a fantastic Isabella Ambassador 2500 Awning off the internet which is 26 years old. It is in fantastic condition although is missing those pole fixing brackets that allow connection to the caravan side wall.

On inspecting the profire on the awning it seems there is no 'little' profile to fit a Fixon connector, and was wondering what was the original way of connecting?

It has carbon poles with the hooks at the end. I've just ordered some stick on bracket pads to be going on with as we are away this weekend, but would really like to know if there is a better 'Isabella' way of doing this.
