12v Hairdryer

I have bought one of these to use while on aires etc. but when I tried it out yesterday it blew a fuse in my M/H which I can not now find. The socket for 12v is also the status aerial power feed, which is also now not working. Has anyone else got a 12 v
hairdryer if so have you had any issues with it? there is no indication on the hairdryer as what amps it draws I assumed as it was 12v it would be ok to use in the 12v socket (guess I was wrong) can anyone offer any help.
