Should I be worried

I went to check the caravan this morning in storage (it's only 3 houses away I front of my garage) a gentleman was tidying up hedges for a neighbour whose house is next to the 2 garages, he told me someone with an Irish accent in a old red car was asking
him questions about my van, is it for sale, does the owner live near, I phoned 101 to tell the police as a van was stolen 40 miles from here 2 weeks ago in broad daylight with cctv, I think the dog will be getting some late night walks for a while
