Installing a Power Inverter.
Hello, after buying our first mtorhome in May this year, me and the wife have enjoyed many excursions, mainly to CC sites where EHU is available. However, we have had a couple of outings where we didn't have an EHU and relied on the leisure battery instead.
For this reason, I'm looking at fitting a power inverter to run the 240 volt TV in the motorhome. However, after visiting the WAECO and Sterling websites, I now realise that an inverter needs to be installed within 2 metres of the leisure battery, in a dry
enclosure free, from flammable material, with adequate ventilation.
I had hoped to fit the inverter underneath the seating in the living area but obviously, this would not provide sufficient ventilation.
With this in mind, can anyone offer an insight into what set-up they have?
Many thanks,
Gav.
