Whales submersible pump problem...solved
I have the caravan sitting outside the house to get ready for the off on Sunday, doing the usual checks the water pump in the onboard water tank wasn't working. the light came on to show there was power but checked fuse anyway, I tried a few shakes incase
it was an airlock but still nothing, I thought it must need replaced so disconnected the water pipe & lifted it out to see model no. I decided to take the end off & see if the impeller was turning & noticed a thin black thread in it, after a bit of poking,blowing
& pulling the thread came out I tried the pump again & it was jumping trying to spin so a bit more blowing & poking then success the pump is now working again,ive no idea how thread got in but a look in the tank I can see fluff floating around hopefully another
couple of fills & emptying it will flush it all away.
