Fat fingers auto correct

I sent a joke to a friend via text on my phone, looking at it after I noticed some words had been changed with the auto correct, does anyone else have this problem with the letters on their phone being too small for their fingers? I think the next phone
I buy will need finger tip size letters, copious amounts of alcohol does not solve the problem it just confuses the auto correct
