Liquid Nails?

One for the DIY fraternity, not the beauticians.

I need to fix a timber frame to a plaster-on-brick wall. The weight of the frame will stand on a concrete floor, so not too much strength needed, just a steadying support to stop it moving away from the wall. Daren't use screws and plugs as too many cables
nearby and finding them accurately even with a cable detector is unreliable I'm told. Any suggestions for an adhesive to do it, like silicone or liquid nails please?
