Alko ATC problems

Is anyone having problems getting the healthy green light on their ATC after connecting.
I find it quite difficult at times, requiring connecting - disconnecting reconnecting several times. Have also tried putting the handbrake on and off, this was a tip from the dealer.
Any ideas?
