I have just acquired a 2000 model Lunar Clubman 2 berth whicch is in very fair codition however on a fifty mile trip from the place of purchase to my home the wheels became very hot.  I realise this could be caused by either the brakes binding or faulty
wheel bearings. The handbook says these are sealed-for-life bearings which require no maintenance. Since caravan engineers in my part of the world are as rare as hen's teeth I would like to hear from anyone who has found sealed-for-life wheel bearings to fail
before I go the expense of hunting down a competent mechanic. Obviuously I am keen to use the new van but fear for its safety if the overheating led to hub failure.
