Eriba Awning

We've got an Eriba Famila 310GT

We do have an old Soplair awning that goes with it (heavy steel poles, lots of canvas,  etc.).  We've just used a German sun canopy type for ourselves for the past few years, but this year we need an extra room and I'm a bit reluctant to lug that old awning
round Europe.  Been wondering about one of the 'driveaway' type porch awnings for the smaller (lower) motorhomes.  Some of these seem to offer a cheap compromise.  Anyone tried these on an Eriba?  Do they work?
