Audi A4 bumper clearance

Hi - new to this forum and would really appreciate some help here.  My last car was a 2010 B8 A4 3.0 Sline Quattro which I had a detachable Westfallia towbar fitted hooked up to my van with a Al-ko 3004 stabiliser.  I have just bought a 2014 facelift B8
A4 3.0 sline and am looking to have the same towbar fitted, however websites all warn that it does not have enought clearance for the al-ko stabiliser.  I have checked the car dimensions and loks like the facelift has 3mm greater overhang at the back.  On
the last car I certainly had more than 3 mm so I am wondering where the problem is??  Does anyone have the above combination and it is working ok?
