Protec Towing Covers covering Lights &
I purchased a new caravan Towing Cover in July 2009 which was advertised in the Caravan Club magazine by Protec Covers providing discount for Caravan Club members. The towing cover was sold by Protec specifically for my Swift Conqueror caravan however it covers
all the front lights and reflectors on the caravan entirely so they are not visible at all. This I am told contravenes the Road Traffic Act 1989. I have contacted Protec who have stated the cover cannot be modified and suggested I buy their current version.
As far as I am concerned the cover is not fit for the purpose it was sold but Protec do not want to know and are now ignoring me. The cover has been unused since I purchased it. Has anyone else had similar issues with Protec Covers?
