Calor Lite Bottle Weight

I have just got hold of my first Calor Lite bottle and am now puzzled by the true weight. I have just weighed it at 10.7kgs. On checking the members handbook it states the weight full should be 8.7kgs. The Calor web site says the bottle empty should weigh
in 4.52kgs so this just about equals what my scales say.

Can anyone throw any light on the figure in the handbook.
