We have a marital disagreement!

Going to Bolton Abbey for the first time tomorrow and discussing routes, starting point the West Mids so:

M1 and through Leeds,

M6 Junction 29 and M65,

M6, M62...etc.etc.

Any suggestions as to the best route please?

The main who has not long come back from taking the caravan to the South of France for the umpteenth time is getting stressed!
