Caravan equipment storage

I like most have my van on a site and check it every few months make sure its all OK, But how much of us look at the awning and BBQ and other equipment we store either in the van or in the garage,shed etc.

I took all mine out after 1 year of storage in a brand new garage no water or damp, to find my Cadic BBQ which was put away clean and ready, to be covered in mould on every cooking surface!!!! Awning was OK, thank god.

Yes it washed off and is back to normal but last thing you want to be doing on site is opening the awning or BBQ on the first outing of the year to find the covered in mould.

Have a spring clean before the first trip.
