There is a recent and on-going thread regarding negative reviews of a CL. I am starting this thread because whilst similar, it is significantly different.

OH and I stayed on a CL in November despite there being a very negative review of the owner's attitude. As the CL was very convenient to the event we were attending, I discounted it.

What a mistake! The owner displayed exactly the same high-handed, dictatorial, unnecessarily aggresive and hectoring attitude to me as the previous reviewer had reported.

I also gave the site owner a negative review, though not as severe as the previous reviewer.

Purely by chance, this evening I happened to pull up the CL's entry. I see that my review has been removed and there is a lengthy explanation from CC staff attempting to ameliorate the previous bad review.

This owner has a bad attitude and that is what I spoke about. The main point of my review was that I should have taken notice of the previous negative report.

The point of this post is to question the value of customer feed back if a pushy, aggresive CL owner can have reviews critical of her withdrawn from the website.
