Dash Cam

Please don't ask me why, but I fancy having a dashboard camera to record my trundles, or stumbles, when touring.

I have done some research but all of the experts recommend a different bit of kit. There doesn't seem to be any star of the show or market leader.

Anyone use one? Any comments on the best dash cam to use?
