Steel or carbon fibre poles?

We're taking delivery of a new caravan in March and are trying to choose an awning.  We've had the Inaca Stela recommended as we will be leaving it up for a few weeks at a time and this is supposed to be strong easy to clean.  Don't know whether to go for
steel for the strength or carbon fibre for the weight.  Any thoughts?
