2 weeks ago I had the roof of my Burstner rubberised!! That is to say, a rubber solution was painted on (just like a flat roof) & NO MORE LEAKS. I got so fed up with the MH leaking, that I took the bull by the horns and got it done. Was NOT cheap but well
worth it. If any member wants more info, please contact me at cliffahmusic@aol.com and I would be happy to help.

Did  that  on  my  very  first  Motor-camper,  Clifford12 !

When  I  got  fed  up  of  having  to  drop  one  corner  of  my  V.W.  Eurovette,  back  in  the  deeper  bit  of  last  Century  I  got  the  Steps  out,  a  3"  paint  brush  &  a  couple  of  tins  of  mastic  type  sealant.  For  a  while  I  repeated
the  dose  regularly,  with  an "Inbetween  Times"  dose  of  white  spirit  to  ensure  total  penetration  Embarassed. After  a  few
years  I  discovered  that  my  "Wonderful,  one-off"  cure  was  to  be  found  on  at  least  10%  of  'vans  with  the  common  or  garden  flat  E/roof.

Truly  there's  nothing  or  at  least  very  little  thats  new  in  this  world  !
