Cascade Carver 2 Ignition Problems

Hi all,

I have a 95 Bailey 400 with a Carver Cascade 2 (gas only) fitted which is refusing to ignite.

I have checked the gas supply before the burner / safety valve and this is present.The igniter fires for around 10 seconds but no gas is getting past the valve so no ignition.

 

Does anybody know how this valve is supposed to function? I can feel it engage (it clunks) and it has power to it but I suspect it's this which is failing and not allowing gas through.
