Bulldog Max Versus Alko Hub clamps

I have recently insured a new caravan and only when I printed out the policy details did I discover that the insurers only accept Alko or Wittenberger as hub clamps. I have used a Bulldog Max on the last two caravans, both of which had Alko receivers, and
I found the Bulldog much easier to fit and just as secure. Has anyone else had this issue?
