Caravan Insurance
When i bought my new van i called around and asked what they requested for security.I got the hitch lock,wheel lock and storage in a gold site.
when i picked up the van and called for the cover to start the company then refused to cover me for the van,their reason was it wheel lock was not attached to the chassis.
I'm new to caravanning but i know that the chassis on the elddis does not have this system and surely a caravan insurance company should also know this when i first called and asked what there requirements were for security.
The man at the show room when on to solid secure web site which has the top rated systems for vans and mine were in the top 5 for both hitch lock and wheel lock but not good enough for the companys requirments!!!!!!!
They agreed to cover me at the orignal price for the first year but said they can not offer cover next year at the same price.
Has anyone else has issues with this?
