Peugeot 3008 towing

Hi! I am new to caravaning and have the offer of a Peugeot 3008 'sports' [active] 1.6 hdi diesel car [manual]to tow with.

The caravan is an Avondalwe mayfair 470 -2 berth MTPLM 1140Kg MIRO 971Kg

Has any one out there towed this combination or heavier caravan and if so what was the performance like on hills, pulling away.

I would appreciate and opinions / advice.
