Baileys and Dickinsons
I bought a brand new bailey pegasus GT 65 last may, less than 12 months in it delevoped problems, basically i was on a site and everything went, i had no electric, no water hot or cold and no heating, dickinsons replaced 2 batteries and 2 chragers saying
the original battery was the problem meaning my fault all along !
It culminated in the CO2 alarm waking at 3am as the battery acid was spewing toxic fumes into the van, again my fault !!
More than a dozen emails with pictures were sent tobot bailey and dickinsons and to cut a very long story short i had to take the van in to dickinsons which i was doing anyway for the 12 month service.
The outcome was a faulty connection on the charger (although they already changed that twice) i havent used the van since so dont know if its resolved or not, hopefully it is.
I paid over £200 for the service and no apology for the problems other than from the mechanic who sorted it, i asked both bailey and dickinsons about any compensation for me not being able to use my van to its full extent and basically was told NO CHANCE,
i suppose my problems started when i paid cash for the van, had i paid by installments i would have stopped them with immidiate effect till things were sorted.
Good luck if any of you have problems with these 2 companies.
