Road to Hawes

We are looking for somewhere to try our new Motorhome out for a few days and l found Hawes. It looks really nice and having 2 dogs it seems ideal. The problem is l told my husband its near to Asgarth Falls and we had a nasty experience with the Motorhome
going up the hill from there. We will be coming from Lincolnshire, does anyone know if the road to the Hawes campsite is ok.
