Vehicle nose weight help
Im just in the process of purchasing a new tow car. Its a Kia Carens which matches perfectly to my caravan but does say that if the nose weight of the tow car is high (over 100%) care should be taken to load the caravan.
After matching the car to my van it says its 107% so following advice from the club I will take care to load correctly as I usually do anyway. The problem I am unsure of is what the nose weight means regarding loading.
How can I load the caravan/car correctly based on the high nose weight of the car?
I usually put my 11kg gas bottle and large awning etc over the caravan axle and they load the car boot with clothes, heavy tin food etc. Would I still load this way or would I need to keep the cars boot as light weight as I possibly could and load more
over the caravan axle?
