picking up caravan

after 4 weeks  of carvan being at dealers for warrinty work was told it will be ready this week being my wife is a teacher i asked would it be possible to pick it up on saturday only to be informed its not this is so unfair we only need to hitch up and go
we now have to both take day of work costing us money fo somthing what was not our fault

    Well you could always call there bluff. Tell them it's fine you will pick it up on your next avalable weekday off. Then remind them that will be the October half term, shore they will change there minds as they would not wish to store it free of charge for
    that long !!

    As it is warranty work tell them to deliver it - on a transporter of course - and charge it to the manufacturer.

    You're right that they won't store it FOC. Instead they'll charge for storage.

    Arrange to pick it up five minutes before closing on Friday, then turn up Saturday am. and say you missed them.

    we are alowed to pick it up before 12 on saturday so happy now but still a trip from wimbledon to winchester then on to storage in littlehampton so fingers crossed no more warrinty work

    When you replace it you will know where to go for your next caravan, somewhere else.
