BMW 320 xdrive - can a towbar be fitted?

I am discussing a new BMW 320 xdrive tourer with my dealer as a move up from my 118d sport which tows my Swift 382 very easily. It has a factory towbar and dealer modified elecrics to deal with the Alko ATC and all is well.

However, the dealer cannot confirm fitting a towbar because the configurator will not let him add it when he is "building" the car. I'm certain I have seen a test of this car somewhere, so I cannot believe it's not possible. Any one any  positive info?
