Warranties.
I purchased a nwew Baily Pegasus caravan at the NEC in Feb. this year from Wanderhome Caravans in Knottingly West Yorks. There were a few warranty isues and Wanderhome dealt with them. I have recently had a further minor issue and asked my local Baily dealer, White Arches of Rushden, Northants, if he would deal with the issue as a Baily retailer. He refused. I checked my terms & conditions from Baily, it specifically says all warranty work must be carried out by the purchasing retailer. So, why is my caravan different from my Honda tow car? Pesumably because that is how the manufacturers want it! The Club Technical department say they are working with manufacturers to improve things for customers! Any views?
