Please can anyone help.

I have recently purchased a new 2013 Swift challenger SE 565, and on the first occasion that we used the caravan, the carbon monoxide detector sounded at approx. 11.00 pm at night, the cooker was not in use, the alde wet heating however was on, but was set
on electric , I understand from the handbook that at high demand the heating may boost the output by switching on the gas, I can only assume that this is what happened, and this was the cause of the alarm going off. I contacted the dealer from whom I purchased
the caravan from, and they asked me to return ii, which I did, they have now contacted me to say that they have run the hearting on gas up to a temperature of 31 degrees without the carbon monoxide detector going off. I am concerned about this as the alarm
most definitely did go off, and I am now trying to find a reason why this should happen. could you advise me of any other  incidents that you may have been made aware of this happening, and what may be the cause ..
