Truma mover won't!

Just about to put caravan back in storage after a service and having problems with the remote control for the Truma SE mover.  It was a pain last year and it looks as though it will be the same this year.  I thought it was a battery problem, so new one's
put in, no improvement.  The remote continues beeping as though it is searching for the mover, it just doesn't stop.  I have tried to release the locked on rollers, but can't get the caps out to use the T bar.  Don't want to resort to a hammer.

I am now about to order a new remote, just a little shocked about the range of prices, from £106 to £144. 

Any tips of where to find a Truma SE remote more reasonably priced would be appreciated.

Just as well we decided not to go away this weekend.
