Single or Twin Axle?

i am looking to px my current unit and am seeking advice  on whether to go for a new Bailey Vigo or Cartagena. I tow with a Kia Sorento 2.2 (2015 model) which I know ticks all the boxes on the Vigo, but there is a slight concern on the kerb weight of the
Cartagena according the the CC unit match. Simple question to those that know - is a twin axle more stable when towing, or should I stick to the Vigo with bags left in terms of gvw etc? Any advice much appreciated, thanks Geoff.
