Carrying my new awning

I have just taken delivery of my new blow up awning (only 3 months late!!) but now have an issue on where to stow it. It is too large even when folded to fit inside my largest 'man locker', therefore I guess I will need some kind of box to carry it...preferably
on my bike rack.

Others have suggested a waterproof bag (it comes with one so another would hopefully help with keeping the wet out en route anywhere) but the security of this would worry me.

Stowing it inside would be goood unless its wet and dirty.

How do others manage?
