Pandy Club Site

Hello all, We are planning to visit the Pandy Site in Wales in April. Noting the advice about not transiting through Abergoveny I have looked at the route  travelling from the east. I am looking at heading N West on the A49 towards Hereford and then S West
on the A465 to the site.  There appears to be a "short cut" south of Hereford along the B4348 which links the A49 and A465 .  Any one out there used this route that can offer any advice on its suitability for a car towing a 15ft caravan?  Any help gratefully
