Ludlow Touring Park

Good afternoon all, has anyone on here travelled to Ludlow Touring Park from the south west of England?  The CC route planner suggests going across the bridge into Wales and up, just wondering if going up to Jct6 on the M5 would be easier.  Thoughts please,
