Suggestions south of the border

Hi we are aiming a week away mid sept with our new larger caravan and don't wish to travel too far for our first trip with it. trouble is I'm struggling to find somewhere to go which lives up to my favourite place...the Peak District. We tried the new forest,
lovely but found all the walks very similar, no variety.  Would love some suggestions of places no more than 3 hour drive from Kent, that have walks suitable for dogs, preferably with views and streams/ sea? P.s we prefer CL's.
