Air suspension/dampers/shock absorbers

I switched from caravan to camping car one year ago- love it but its noisy when driving - Bessacarr E520 love it but suspension when hitting any bump or grid is awful - really loud bang with a capital B - I really do not want to go air suspension but what
about new or different dampers (shock absorbers) van has only done 6500 miles - road noise from bumps is really loud and heavy - it makes you think what the noise and ride was like in a caravan when towing if one had been inside the van and not the car.
