Towing in this weather

I was travelling on the M6 from Lichfield heading towards Lancashire yesterday and, following a near miss with a falling tree near Keele Services, decided to abandon my journey home and find a local hotel.

What I found absolutely stunning though was that I passed a caravan being towed on the M6 Toll.  I gave it a very wide berth as I passed and looked over to see the driver swigging from a can of pop with one hand on the wheel, as casual as you like.  I was
being buffetted by the wind and gripping on to the wheel as if my life depended on it but he didn't seem to have a care.

Are some people born fearless or are they just plain daft?
