Tents on CC sites

We have a caravan and our daughter and family have  a tent we holiday together a lot but not on CC sites because  they will not allow her a pitch on the site with electric other campsites allow her to pitch near us as long as she pays same fees. CC sites
allow trailer tents so why not tents
