Toilet advice!

In the latest editiion of the caravan club magazine there is article on the servicing/repair of cassett type toilets.There is an error which needs to be bought to the attention of the general public and the "expert" that wrote the article.A picture and writing
would seem to indicate that some toilet flush pumps are operated by 2 AA batteries (ie 3 volts) whereas as far as I know the pump will only work on 12 volt and the 2 AA batteries are only there to annoy you at 4AM when you go for the mid ..night wee
